The blades are virtually unbreakable, and have a quick blade change feature, spring-loaded push-button opener. It is designed to fit the hand, allowing maximum grip, and minimum wrist distortion.
The blade slider is held permanently in place whilst a magnet holds the working blade in place. Spare blades are held securely so there is no edge damage, and no rattle, featuring a hinged opening mechanism.

The IRWIN Jack 880UN Universal Toolbox Saw has all the features and benefits of a standard Jack 880, with the convenience of a 14in 'short' blade. The saw is fitted with a high quality C75 steel blade and features a unique Triple Ground tooth design offering up to 25% faster cutting performance than traditional double ground saws. The blade is treated with a water-based lacquer providing four times the added protection than conventional anti-rust agents.

The handle has integrated 90° and 45° angles to aid the user when marking out.
