"Bostik Dustproofer & Hardener is a colourless, viscous liquid based on Sodium Silicate that is formulated for hardening and dustproofing old or new concrete floors. It penetrates the surface and combines with the hydrated cement to give long lasting protection. It extends the life of concrete and terrazzo floors and makes them easier to clean and maintain. It is ideal for garages and workshops, factory floors and public areas as it improves resistance to chemicals, oil, grease and abrasion. Hardens and dustproofs concrete floors. Bostik Colours for Cement have been specifically formulated to colour cement, renders (e.g. walls, swimming pools), mortars and flooring (sand/cement screeds, granolithic floor). Bostik Colours for Cement use pigments that conform to EN 12878: 2014 and are lightfast, with easy dispersion into the dry mix. They are suitable for interior and exterior use and are intermixable to give a wide range of shades. Does not affect performance of mix. 1kg Tub.

It is an alkaline soap of mixed fatty acids, which reacts chemically with cement to form hydrophobic salts, which reduce water penetration.Bostik Integral Waterproofer helps reduce efflorescence and lime bloom by restricting moisture movement and helps reduce crazing in rich mixtures by controlling the rate of evaporation.It waterproofs and plasticises mortar for external or basement renderings, pointing and in swimming pools, sewers and tank linings as part of the overall waterproofing system specification. It will not corrode reinforcing metalwork, but is not suitable for use in structural concrete. Waterproofer and plasticiser for mortar. Ideal for renders. Reduces efflorescence and crazing."
