Acts as a carrier for plaster where no key or backing is present Can be used over chases/columns to prevent cracking Can be moulded into curves/domes Can easily be cut to size using tin-snips or aviation cutters Fixing Type: Galvanised Clout Nails/Staples/Screws and Washers A 5-6mm gap must be provided between the lath and substrate Overlap sheets 50mm along short edge, and 25mm along long edge Fixings to perimeter at 150mm intervals, central fixings at max 350mm in a staggered formation Sheets should be staggered in a stretcher (brick bond) arrangement If overlaps are unsupported, they must be wire-tied at 150mm centres
